Iranian ‘Spider’ publishes on-set photo of Mahour Alvand

Iranian cinematic project ‘Spider’ has revealed a new on-set photo featuring Mahour Alvand.

The released image for Ebrahim Irajzad’s second directorial experience has been shot by Habib Majidi.

The young actress is famous filmmaker Sirous Alvand’s daughter. She took her debut role in Reza Mirkarimi’s 2015 movie ‘Daughter’. Since then, she has worked with well-respected Iranian directors such as Bahram Tavakkoli, Mostafa Kiaee and Tahmineh Milani.

In 2017, she won the Best Actress award at the 36th edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

The social-crime flick narrates the story of a man who wanted to eradicate corruption from the face of the earth.

‘Spider’ is currently undergoing music production and sound-mixing stage. It has also requested to attend the 38th Fajr film Festival.  

Besides Mahour, Mohsen Tanabandeh, Sareh Bayat, Shirin Yazdanbakhsh are the prominent names among the cast members of the movie.
